MELANIA TRUMP PLAGIARISM TO MICHELLE OBAMA'S SPEECH.

Former model accused of plagiarising Michelle Obama after surprise speech at Republican National Convention.
Melania Trump put herself in the spotlight for the first time in husband Donald's campaign for the US presidency last night with an address to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio.
But no sooner had she left the stage to warm applause - having delivered "the speech her husband needed, to portray him in a softer light", according to CNN - then Twitter started buzzing with claims she had plagiarised a section from a speech given by Michelle Obama to the Democrat National Convention in 2008.
"From a young age, my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life, that your word is your bond and you do what you say and keep your promise," said the former model last night.
This was said to echo Obama's words eight years ago, when she told Democrats: "Barack and I were raised with so many of the same values: that you work hard for what you want in life, that your word is your bond and you do what you say you’re going to do."
In another passage, Trump spoke of the couple's parenting values, saying: "We want our children in this nation to know that the only limit to your achievements is the strength of your dreams and your willingness to work for them."
And in 2008, Obama said: "We want our children – and all children in this nation – to know that the only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work for them."
